We had great fun making porrisge and the writing was fabulous too.

We had great fun making porrisge and the writing was fabulous too.

Thank you to all who supported your children with the talking homework for big writing. Everyone enjoyed making porridge and most enjoyed eating it too. We talked about the ingredients and equipment needed then discussed the type of instructional words you would use for a recipe.
All of the children made a super effort this week with writing. It was very hard to choose the star writers. A sample will be posted on the blog shortly.

We have been looking closely at the story of The Three Bears. Debbie and friends sing this adventure below.

We will be making porridge at school this week and then we will write Porridge Making instructions.

    • Hello Nathan White I think that your favourite ‘wh’ word is whale. You can certainly draw a good whale.
